My Story
Mariya Harley is a fashion and travel photographer based in West London (W14), shooting across Central London — Mayfair, Chelsea, Kensington, Notting Hill, Soho, Belgravia, Marylebone, Knightsbridge — and on assignment worldwide. Documented hotel residencies include Raffles Doha, Raffles Dubai, Marina Bay Sands, Lone Hotel Rovinj, Ethno Belek, Orient Express Venezia, and Rixos Premium Dubrovnik. Ten years of editorial experience and 300+ commercial shoots inform every frame.
Photography found me early. As a young woman growing up in Ukraine, I was drawn to the power of an image to reveal something that words could not. But before I ever picked up a camera professionally, I went through my own transformation. I learned to see beauty in myself first — through styling, through presence, through the confidence that comes from knowing how you want to be seen.
That personal journey became the foundation of everything I do today. When I photograph someone, I'm not just capturing how they look. I'm helping them see themselves the way I see them — at their most confident, their most beautiful, their most authentic.
Experience
Over 10+ years and 300+ shoots have taken me across fashion editorials, portrait sessions, brand campaigns, and luxury hotel content. I work from my own studio in London W14, equipped for everything from intimate portrait sessions to full production shoots.
What sets me apart is that I don't just photograph — I style. Every session includes a styling consultation because I understand that how you look in front of the camera starts long before the shutter clicks. This double expertise means my clients get two professionals for the price of one.
Beyond the Camera
When I'm not behind the camera, I'm raising my children in London. Motherhood has only deepened my eye for real, unscripted moments — the kind of spontaneous beauty that no amount of directing can create. It's taught me patience, presence, and the ability to find magic in the everyday.
My Ukrainian heritage runs through everything I do. It gives me a perspective that is both grounded and ambitious, practical and deeply emotional. I bring that authenticity to every project — whether it's a high-fashion editorial or a quiet portrait session in my studio.
