FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about booking a shoot with me. If your question isn't answered here, get in touch.

How do I book a session?

Simply fill in the contact form on the website, or send me an email directly. Tell me a little about what you're looking for — the type of shoot, preferred dates, and any ideas you have. I'll respond within 24 hours with availability, a tailored quote, and next steps. A 50% deposit secures your date.

What is included in a session?

Every session includes a pre-shoot styling consultation (we discuss outfits, colours, accessories, and what to expect), the shoot itself in my West London studio (W14) — working across Central London or on location, professional retouching of all delivered images, and delivery via a private online gallery. The number of retouched images depends on the package you choose — see Services & Pricing for details.

How many photos will I receive?

A standard 1-hour portrait session includes 10 professionally retouched images. Half-day shoots (lookbooks, brand content) deliver 20 or more images. Full-day editorial or campaign shoots deliver 40 or more. You can always add extra retouched images at £10 per photo. I'll also share a selection of unedited previews so you can choose your favourites.

What is the turnaround time?

Standard delivery is 7 business days from the shoot date. For time-sensitive projects like product launches or events, rush delivery is available at an additional fee — just let me know when you book. You'll receive a sneak peek of 2-3 images within 48 hours of the shoot.

Do you travel for shoots?

Absolutely. While I'm based in West London (W14) — working across Central London, I regularly travel across the UK and internationally for projects. I've shot in Dubai, Croatia, Turkey, and across Europe. Travel costs (transport and accommodation if needed) are quoted separately depending on the location. For hotel content collaborations, travel is typically covered as part of the collaboration arrangement.

Is styling included?

Yes — every session includes a complimentary styling consultation. This is one of my key differentiators. Before your shoot, we'll discuss your wardrobe options, colour palette, accessories, and overall look. I'll advise on what works best on camera and help you feel confident and prepared. With over a decade of experience in fashion photography, I understand how styling transforms the final image.

Can I use the photos commercially?

Personal use (social media, personal website, prints for home) is included in all packages as standard. Commercial licensing — for advertising, product packaging, publications, or resale — can be arranged at the time of booking. Hotel content packages and brand content packages include full commercial usage rights as standard. If you're unsure, just ask and I'll clarify what's covered.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled session receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations within 48 hours are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Rescheduling is always free with at least 24 hours' notice — I understand plans change. Bad weather for outdoor shoots? We'll reschedule at no cost.

Where are shoots located?

I have my own studio in London W14, which is equipped for portrait sessions, fashion shoots, and product photography. I also shoot on location across London — parks, streets, cafes, rooftops, or any location that suits your vision. For brand and hotel clients, I travel to your premises. We'll discuss the best location during the planning stage.

Do you shoot video as well?

Yes. I offer short-form video (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) as part of my brand content and hotel packages. For longer-form video projects, I work through my production company, Hochu Production, which offers full-service videography and content strategy.

Hotel photographer London — what does a typical engagement look like?
