Permission is the part people forget. A Royal Park needs a permit booked at least ten days ahead, and it covers one hour for up to ten people.

Permission is worth checking early. Several London venues and every Royal Park need it, and the notice periods are measured in days.

A venue booking is not permission to photograph. They are two different conversations, and the second one is often forgotten.

Indoors, the question is different: what the room looks like when it is full, which is rarely what it looks like on a viewing.
