Editorial portrait photographed at a London telephone box

Which photoshoot do you actually need?

Model Portfolio / Editorial Portrait

The pictures are going to people who look at pictures professionally — agencies, casting directors, art buyers. That audience reads a portfolio differently from the way a client reads a website.

What this session is

A studio or location session built to produce range rather than one look: clean portrait, full length, movement, and at least one editorial frame with a stronger concept. Retouched to a professional standard, delivered in a private gallery.

Why it fits your answers

You said the images go to agencies or castings, and you need little direction. That changes what we shoot: a portfolio needs proof that you can be styled several ways and still be recognisably yourself, so we spend the session moving between registers rather than perfecting a single one.

What agencies actually look for

A clean, unretouched-looking digital — front, profile, full length, no makeup games — alongside the editorial frames. Portfolios that skip the plain shots make bookers suspicious, because heavy styling hides exactly what they are assessing. Bring simple clothing for those frames: fitted, plain, no logo.

Retouching

Retouching is £10 per photograph beyond the images included in your session, so it is worth selecting for the ones you will actually submit rather than finishing everything.

How this result was chosen

The quiz asks 7 questions and each answer adds weight to one or more of 6 outcomes. This page is the one your answers weighted highest; the alternatives were Personal Branding Session, Fashion Lookbook, Brand Content Day, UGC Pieces and Hotel & Venue Content. Where two outcomes score closely the honest answer is that either would work, which is why every outcome is readable from the list below rather than hidden behind the quiz.

Scoring runs in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere.
